"If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together, there is something you must always remember; you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. The most important thing is, even if we're apart, I'll always be with you.”~Winnie the Pooh

40 years ain't so bad...
November 2012 marked the 40th anniversary of Eric's life...in other words, one foot is now officially in the grave. What better way to preserve his youth than to go to Disneyland...without kids. Yes!
To top that fun off, I set up a little surprise to have Eric's BFF/mission companion, Brett, from Arizona and his lovely wifey, Whitney, meet us there...totally incognito.
We spent a day at Disney and that evening, they knocked on our hotel door and Eric was completely SURPRISED. He had no idea. It was so perfect.
Eric and I have this little thing we do where we take a picture of him with every character we come across at Disneyland...the trick is, we don't wait in line. In each of these pictures, you can see a character. It may be about 50 yards away but they are there. Get out your magnifying glass. HA! I love it. We don't wait in no stinkin lines.
Selfys and randoms.
I dont pay for no stinkin ride cam pictures...ha!
Here turkey, turkey.

Ok, maybe we will wait in a line for Mickey.
Last night there, trees were lit. A little snow happening on Main St USA. Loved it!
Happy Birthday to you Eric!

October 2012, Whitney and I ran the Utah Half Marathon. It was a gorgeous run through the hills of Downtown Salt Lake City. This was Whitneys first race since having her baby so she was pretty excited. I love running with my sister. I hope we can do it when we are old.
It was a gorgeous day for a run.
Favorite October Randoms. (Paige, is that ice cream cone bigger than your head?)
Whew, I think we are done with October now...

Who can forget Witches Night Out... 2012
You thought I forgot, didn't you? Or maybe thought we didn't take part in our, now, 3 year tradition? HA! WE LOVE WITCHES NIGHT OUT!
I imagine that in some way, shape, or form, we will always be enjoying Witches Nights Out but this party that takes place at Gardners Village every year is so fun.
We can't resist. Why aren't there more of these all over the place?
This is a collage of the photographic evidence of my personal shenanigans that night (dang those shoes hurt).
And the girls (Amy, Alicia, Carrie)...being girls (witches).
As you can see, we like to let our hair down and get a little crazy wild, in our own way. Love those girls!
My THRILLER pose.

October, finally...
I know, I know, its May 2013....but I'm still playing catch up! I think can, I think I can...
October 2012 Festivities
Punkins...ew.
Punkin farm, complete with scary train ride, stinky animals and super wind-blown hair.
Trick-or-Treat at the offices (these kids do a lot of trick or treating).
And of course trick-or-treat in the hood. The Eagle Mountain neighborhood was awesome for trick-or-treats...I have never seen so many kids! ('Super Missionary' is the answer if you were thinking "what the heck is Braiden supposed to be"?)
My faves...
(Like mother like daughter, if the shoe fits....eeeeeeeeeeeee!)
Dressing up for work Halloween Party. My costume was not nearly as creative as some of these guys but at least I dressed up!
September 2012 Favorite Randoms
Ask anyone who knows me...I wont be found without my camera. I take lots of pictures of everything we do. I love documenting the moment (even if it is a trip to the dentist). By no means am I a pro, I just like the candids, and believe me, there are lots of them.
Here are a few of September's favorite 'randoms'.
Oh and did I mention that Max FINALLY started really walking in September? I guess he finally realized its more fun to run rather than crawl from Mom and Dad.
2012 FOOTBALL- Westlake Thunder
Braiden had an excellent season with the 8th grade Westlake Thunder A team
last year.
He made some great friends and learned a lot from his coach who is a retired NFL football player.
I always have mixed emotions when football season begins and ends. I love seeing my son have fun doing something he loves but its a dang LOT of work, for him and ME but I am so proud of him and his desire to succeed.

Seattle 2012 (Best trip EVER!)
September 2012, I made my way to the beautiful Pacific North West to visit my bestest friends in the whole world. Its just a perk that they both live in awesome places.
The first day I got there, Tamara and I wandered Seattle, doin the tourist thing...why not?
I just love Pikes Market. If I lived in Seattle, I would be there everyday. Its such a neat place.
We came back a couple days later to do even more touristy stuff...can you say Quack??
Then we made our way down to Portland, OR to visit Carrie (our other 3rd). We hung out and just played catch up for all the girls nights we have missed in the last 3 years while the kids played in the bounce house (yes that is a bounce house in the house).
You know you are best friends when you don't see each other for months or even years and we pick right back up like no time has passed at all.
I love these ladies. Cant wait for next time.
